hi.. sorry for not updating my blog.. i've been really, really busy this week.. i've got a theatre competition to handle.. it's called English Theatre Week 2009 (ETW).. it was held for 5 days starting from the 10th of August till the 14th of August.. basically, it's where production houses competing against each other.. anyone could join it.. you only have to have a production house and a script..

by the way, there were 3 production houses competing against each other this year.. they are AlterEgo, Syarikat Beras Bt.3 and Kasturi Company.. AlterEgo presented a play entitled "5 Types of Guys (Women Should Avoid)".. it's a musical theatre.. Syarikat Beras Bt.3 presented a play entitled "7 Perempuan".. last but not least, Kasturi Co. presented a play entitled "Natrah: The Tragedy".. as you can guess, AlterEgo won Best Play and also other awards..

anyway, i was one of the main board.. the financial controller.. so basically, my job involves money, accounts, budgets, etc.. it's a really hard work.. but i get to help other committees if they need a helping hand.. it's really exhausting but i had so much fun at the same time.. all the committee members are so cool! i'm gonna miss them so much as we worked together and see each other practically every day! (^_^)

-assignments & presentations-

this week has been a hectic week for me.. that's why i haven't updated my blog regularly.. hehe, sorry! this week alone i have an assignment and a presentation.. to you, maybe it's easy.. to me, it's HELL!!

my assignment is from my Research Methodology class.. we (meaning me and my partner, Ponie) were asked to summarize 2 articles that is related to language/linguistic.. anybody who knows me would know that i hate linguistic subjects.. ok, not really hate it (that's too harsh).. kinda like dislike it.. i'm more of a literature person.. hehe.. anyway, i submitted it this morning in class.. i don't know what i wrote in my report.. i just mixed everything and hope the lecturer understands it.. *fingers crossed*

my presentation is from my English Literature: Beowulf to Johnson's class.. i know, the name of the subject is a handful.. hehe.. moving on, we were asked to work in a group.. my other group members are Jack, Fitri, Faiz and Izad.. yeah, i'm the only girl in the group.. so much fun! anyway, the topic for our presention is based on Sir Thomas Malory's work entitled "Le Morte d'Arthur".. all i can tell you is that it's a really tough topic.. tomorrow, we'll be presenting it in front of everybody.. and that scares me! i get stage fright if i talk in front of a crowd, let alone a large one.. i hope tomorrow's class is cancelled.. that way, i have time to prepare myself.. *fingers crossed*
