-5th & final paper: Grammatical Analysis-

hehe.. today (12/04/09) will be my fifth and final paper.. finally! (^_^)
it's ENGL 2050 - Grammatical Analysis.. time - 3m, venue - Main Hall, CAC
[seat no. - 101].. i'm so excited but at the same time so effing scared.. excited because it's my last paper and scared to death because it's GA for God's sake! it's one of the hardest subjects in BENL..

Grammatical Analysis is about analysing the English grammar (duh!).. but it's not like the English grammar that we usually see in school.. nope, it's much more harder than that and more detailed.. the text book is entitled "An Introduction to Functional Grammar" by M.A.K. Halliday and it's contains 689 pages.. it has 10 chapters but we don't cover all of it.. the book is so expensive, it's not sold in Malaysia anymore! although i have the original copy (thanks Pdode!), it's not used in class often.. hmm..

oh yeah, this subject won't be available next semester (i think) because the lecturer, Dr. Adrian E. Hare, is not available.. it's due to the fact that his contract with IIUM has expired.. but if there's no Dr. Adrian, who's gonna teach GA? and if there's no GA, that means other students won't be taking it.. not fair! but whatever it is, i'm gonna miss Dr. Adrian.. he's one of the best lecturers in BENL.. it's sad to see him go.. ='(
